Michael Batten
Hi Family,
I’m Michael Batten—affectionately known as Mike. I’m a pastor’s son, and some say a prophetic teacher. I’m also the founder of All The King’s Men (ATKM), a discipleship movement committed to raising men into their full Kingdom identity.
I’m the grandson of Irvin “Dock” and Rosie Lee Batten, and the son of Malden “Popa” and Trish Batten. For over 20 years, I’ve served in ministry, helping to restore men as sons, leaders, and legacy builders through bold, Spirit-led teaching.
I hold degrees in Justice Studies and Public Administration and bring more than two decades of leadership experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial spaces. I’m the grateful husband of Minister Tracy Batten and the proud father of Kovin Batten, an upcoming MIT graduate.
It’s been a deep honor to serve as President of the 2025 Batten Johnson Simpson Family Reunion. To me, family is sacred—woven together by faith, shaped by love, and rooted in the legacy of those who came before us. We are their prayers fulfilled, their dreams in motion, and their legacy continuing forward.
With love and gratitude,
Mike

Bralinda Batten- Walker
Hi, I’m Bralinda Batten — the granddaughter of Irvin “Dock” and Rosie Lee Batten, and the daughter of Jesse and Rosie Batten.
I work in the pharmaceutical industry and truly love what I do, but my greatest passion is making a difference in the lives of others. Whether it’s through church outreaches for Christ or mentoring people one-on-one, I believe in walking alongside others as they grow in faith and life.
Family means everything to me. I deeply cherish the time I get to spend with my children and grandchildren. When I’m not working or serving, you’ll probably find me out in the garden or enjoying the beauty of nature — it’s where I find peace.
It’s been a joy and an honor to serve on this year’s family reunion committee, and I’m already looking forward to helping again next time!

Carolyn Lane
Hi Family,
My name is Carolyn Lane, daughter of the late Irvin “Dock” Batten and Rosie Lee Batten. I am the proud mother of Attorney Jenita Lane and Larry Terrlis Lane, and a joyful grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren.
I proudly retired from Miller’s Brewery Company in Albany, GA after 30 years of dedicated service. I am also a faithful and devoted member of New Direction Christian Church. Among family, I’m affectionately known as “Brownie.”
It has been my honor to serve this family from the very beginning. I was part of the original reunion committee when my beloved brother, the late Eddie Lee Batten affectionately known as “Big Doc” was given the great assignment of bringing our family together in love, unity, and legacy.
As your Treasurer, I remain committed to that same vision. I look forward to many more years of celebrating our roots, strengthening our bonds, and preserving the legacy entrusted to us.
With love and gratitude,
Carolyn Lane
